Water wax melterThis device is relatively easy to use. Pour water into the tank up to the top ball valve. Throw pieces of wax into the water and start the melter set to 80°C. When the process of separating the wax from impurities is complete, unscrew the bottom ball valve. Contaminated water will flow out through it, and then liquid wax will appear. Then close the bottom valve and place a clean bucket with a sieve under the wax drain valve (top). In this way, we obtain pure liquid wax, which we can set aside for a few hours to clump or use immediately, e.g. for candle production.

The undoubted advantage of a water melter is the ability to quickly, safely and easily dissolve larger amounts of beeswax compared to traditional methods.

Beeswax obtained in the apiary can be reused, as it is an excellent raw material for further development. It is most commonly used to make foundation, but it can also be used to make candles or simply resell it in the form of discs. However, a professional water wax melter will be needed to transform the contaminated cappings into pure wax.
