Anchoring the edges: The edge should be anchored in the ground using plastic anchors 20-25 cm long or metal nails.

Metal nails 25 or 30 cm long are used in stony ground or when installing edges on paving stones (due to the fact that the installation of edges on paving stones is is in a stone base).
