how to use agrotextile: after unfolding and securing the fabric, cut holes in the places where plants are planned to be planted or sown. to make work easier, the fabric has green longitudinal stripes, helpful in planning the planting of plants.

the mat can be unfolded before planting the plants, cutting a hole and then burying the seedling. a knife, scissors or other sharp tool can be used to make a hole in the mat. the edges can be burned, e.g. with a lighter, which will make the fabric look more aesthetically pleasing and will not fray.

if the agrotextile is to be used under arborvitaes, shrubs, flowers or other already growing plants, then the mat is spread around the trunks or stems of these plants. agrotextile replaces mulching the soil with bark (including under conifers or hedges), hence the ground around already growing plants can also be covered with a strip of agrotextile.

to properly attach the agrotextile to the ground, it is recommended to use pins or anchors, which are included in our set.
