how to use agrotextile ❓after unfolding and securing the fabric, cut holes in the places where plants are planned to be planted or sown.

to make work easier, the fabric has green longitudinal stripes, helpful in planning planting.

the mat can be unfolded before planting the plants by cutting a hole and then burying a seedling.

to make a hole in the mat you can use a knife, scissors or other sharp tool. you can burn the edges, e.g. with a lighter, which will make the fabric look more aesthetic and will not fray.

if the agrotextile is to be used under arborvitaes, shrubs, flowers or other plants that are already growing, then the mat is spread around the trunks or stems of these plants. the agrotextile replaces mulching the soil with bark (including under conifers or hedges), hence the ground around plants that are already growing can also be covered with a strip of agrotextile.

to properly attach the agrotextile to the ground, it is recommended to use pins or anchors, which are included in our set. this will protect the agrotextile from being blown away by the wind and the material from rolling up. the pins are made of strong and resistant material, so it is possible to mount it several times.
