Cell cover
Code 4250
The cell cover is used to protect queen cells when they are transferred from a bee colony to a new bee colony, a nucleus or a 6-frame hive. It is also used when placing the queen cell in its own colony. It is made of soft plastic, which protects against crushing by fingers or neighboring frames. Large holes protect the queen cell from damage and make it possible to maintain optimum temperature for effective development of the mother plant. The cover has an elongated handle on one side for attachment to the patch - using the elongated handles, it can be attached in the middle of the patch, because in this place the temperature is minimal for proper maturation of the mother plant and development of the mother plant. The covers are intended for repeated use and will effectively replace previous methods of protecting mother plants using foil and other materials
