Kit Does Not Include Sand The Bestway® Sand Filter Pump is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly way to keep the water flowing through your above ground pool clean. It is a cost effective solution because the pump uses silica sand instead of a traditional filter cartridge. While traditional cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, silica sand lasts up to 3 years. The sand traps dirt and debris, but the pre-filter tank filters out larger items, so the pump will last longer. The filter also features a ChemConnect dispenser, which keeps your pool water clean and healthy by providing a stable level of chlorine that is evenly dispersed throughout the pool. The product is factory-assembled and is compatible with most above-ground pools with a capacity of 1100-66600 L, as it is equipped with adapters for pool valves with an outer diameter of 3.8 cm.

The set does not include sand - the required size is silica sand No. 20, 0.45-0.85 mm, about 36 kg.

The filter also works perfectly with Bestway Polysphere ™ filter balls.
