The smoke from the burned chips penetrates deep into the product, giving it the color and aroma appropriate for the type of wood used.
The type of smokehouse chips has a significant impact on the final taste of smoked meats. We can mix different types of chips, and thus compose our own recipes. Borniak brand chips are dust-free and clean, generating smoke free from undesirable substances. We fill the smoke generator feeder with chips, from where they are moved to a small heater, where they begin to smolder with clean, fragrant smoke. The smoke is directed to the chamber in which we place the products prepared for smoking.
Cherry wood chips Borniak smokehouse chips, coming from cherry tree, are completely natural and are ideal for smoking veal, hams and sausages, or even fish, giving them a unique aftertaste. The package contains 2 liters of chips, enough for 6-8 hours of smoking. The chips should be poured directly into the feeder of the smoke generator.
