Type: 100% plum wood chips. Country of origin: Poland.
Plum wood produces smoke with a light, fruity aroma during smoking, thanks to which smoked meats gain a natural, sweetish aftertaste with a brown color. We recommend testing a small amount of meat, because not everyone may like the sweet aftertaste of smoked products.
The chips can be used for smoking and grilling: - red meat, - sausages, - poultry, - fish.
They are perfect for traditional smokehouses with a fireplace and for electric smokehouses with a smoke generator.
Characteristics of smoking chips:
class 02 chips, i.e. fractions 3 - 6 mm thick,
humidity 10% (+/- 2%),
carefully sorted,
free from mold and fungi,
clean and well dusted,
a 60-liter package should be enough for about 240 hours of smoking.

Application: Wood chips can be used for smoking and grilling fish, poultry, red meat and sausages. They are perfect for traditional smokehouses with a fireplace and for electric smokehouses with a smoke generator, e.g. Borniak, Dymbox.
Smoking: 15 - 45 ml of wood chips per 1 kg of meat. Depending on the type of smokehouse, place the wood chips on a special tray or spread around the glowing fireplace - do not place directly on the heat source, as they will burn.
Grilling: Scatter a 2 cm thick layer around the glowing briquettes/charcoal - do not place directly on the fireplace, as they will burn. Cover the grill. Grilling time: 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the size and type of meat being prepared).
